Steve Berry

Steve Berry is an American bestselling author known for his international historical thrillers that combine real historical mysteries with fast-paced modern adventures. He was born on July 2, 1955, in Georgia, United States, and before becoming a full-time writer he practiced law for over 30 years.

Berry is best known for the popular Cotton Malone series, which follows a former U.S. Justice Department operative who becomes entangled in global conspiracies, historical secrets, and political intrigue. The novels blend history, archaeology, espionage, and action, often exploring real historical legends such as the Knights Templar, lost treasures, secret societies, and hidden documents.

His books have been translated into more than 40 languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide, making him one of the leading authors in the historical thriller genre.
